Most of the time when you sell your home on your own you would put a sign in the yard, find a for sale by owner website, and post information on your home on that website When you hire an agent, marketing is their focus. So for example, if I were to list your home, I would hire a professional photographer with drone coverage to highlight your home in the best possible light. the thing that made you fall in love with your home. then I would post it on a website which would be syndicated to over 200 websites including nationally very important when you live in the melting pot of Florida that we reach out as far as we can because there are people moving to Florida all the time. Second thing to consider is who are you showing your home to? Are these buyers pre-qualified that are calling you? Your agent will make sure that these are qualified buyers who are coming to take a look at your home. And your REALTOR® should be showing your home on your behalf you should not have to worry about that. The last thing to consider are vendors What vendors do you know of if you need to do a repair to your home in a timely manner? or when you need a title company for closing do you have somebody that could take care of that? As an agent who has lived in Central Florida my entire life, I have a whole list of vendors who can cover all of those needs and make sure they are professional vendors in their field and are at good prices.
