Before creating your first slideshow page go to “Custom Fields”. If you see a field group named “Slideshow Settings” you are good to go. If not, you have to import it first. Go to “Custom Fields>Tools”. Click “Choose File” under “Import Field Groups”. Select “realty-acf-slideshow-settings.json” from your computer. You can find this file by unzipping your purchased “realty-2-x-wordpress-theme.zip”. Click “Import”. That’s it. Click “Pages>Add New” to create a new page. Give it a title, add the content you want, select page template “Slideshow” and hit “Publish”. Underneath the editor you will now find “Slideshow Settings”. There are plenty of options. I will show you how to create a property and custom slideshow. Let’s start by creating a property slideshow by selecting “Slideshow Type>Property”. Choose the “Property Type” of your liking. I will stick to “Featured Properties”. You can also show a property search form on top of our slideshow. Just make sure you setup your search first under “Appearance>Theme Options>Property Search”. That’s it, now we save our page and have a look at the result on the front-end. There is our slideshow with all featured properties. Let me show show you how to setup a custom slideshow as well. Select “Slideshow Type>Custom” and add your slide by clicking “Add Slide”. Choose a background image, title, description, link URL, text alignment and a font color. Let’s add one more slide. Save your custom slideshow and refresh your page. Voilá, there you go, your own custom slideshow. Thanks for watching and happy slidehshow creation!
