Real Estate Careers: A Day in the Life of an Agent

A day in the life of a new realtor is certainly an exciting one; it’s a lot to do. It can be a very fun day, a busy day for sure, we’re constantly out and about meeting with clients. That could be meeting at a Starbucks and sitting down and chatting about what their, you know, wants and needs are, how can we accomplish them, and then it’s putting together our showing schedules and then going and showing those properties to prospective clients. We’re dealing with real people with real lives, real jobs and it’s just another example of why it’s so exciting to be a part of the real estate industry
because no two days are the same. I think whenever you’re embarking on a new career or a different career there’s always that hesitation and nerves that, you know, it’s only natural. With this client they want like a townhouse vibe. I think that feeling of support that Long & Foster offers is really unlike any other. The most significant values that Long & Foster possesses; trust, that’s the integrity of the company. We say what we do, we do what we say, and that’s invaluable. It’s also that excellence. Long & Foster sets themselves apart because of their training. Providing the tools that the agents need to take their businesses to the next level and all around just be successful real estate agents. Long & Foster is a family. We don’t just sell the bricks and sticks. We sell a lifestyle, we sell the family, we sell the memories, the experiences. Now I can’t think of a better reason to join a company where I feel at home.
